An insulated, Thermawood-clad ice bath built to live outdoors and be used. Pair it with the Flux Sauna for the full contrast experience, or add it on its own.
A Thermawood-clad exterior and an insulated core keep the water colder for longer and the bath looking right in a natural setting. Underneath is an IBC base with forklift access, so it's easy to deliver and reposition.
Choose the ice bath on its own, or add a chiller that holds the water at a steady temperature. No more topping up with ice before every session.
[NEED: chiller temperature range, power supply needed, noise]
What's included in the price, and delivery terms for the Highlands, islands and offshore, are confirmed with your quote.
Timber entry steps in Thermawood, matched to the bath.
An insulated timber cover.
By curtain-sider lorry, forklift-ready.
Our founder, Harry Rix, built the first Flux ice bath after a trip to the Lake District, where a DIY plunge by the lake raised a question: what if it was done properly? The prototype was built from surplus Victory Leisure Homes timber and a clean IBC, and Harry still uses it three times a week.
[CHECK: Harry to approve the founder story wording]
The ice bath and sauna were designed as one setup. Together they give guests the full contrast routine on a single pitch.

Using it safely: cold water immersion isn't for everyone. Anyone who is pregnant or has a heart condition or other medical condition should take medical advice first. See our FAQs for sensible session guidance.
